    Tormentors

    Unforgiveness         Bitterness         Hatred

Matthew 18:23-35       Parable of a King forgiving his servant

And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.   So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if you from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.       Matthew 18:34-35

Who shall do it?   Our Heavenly Father, God.   What shall He do?   Deliver us to the Tormentors.   Why?   Because, in our hearts, we refuse to forgive those that have wronged us.   If we, in our pride and / or stubbornness, refuse to forgive, God will step back, and allow the Tormentors to come against us.

Who are these Tormentors?   They are demonic spirits.   Unforgiveness is an open door that will allow evil spirits to come into our lives and bring weakness, sickness, disease, migraine headaches, hurt, pain, stiffness, bitterness, hatred, etc.

Forgiveness is a 'Choice'.   We choose of our own free will to forgive or 'not' to forgive.   It is our 'choice'.   Yes, . . sometimes it is very hard and difficult to forgive those that have hurt, harmed, wronged, or betrayed us.   But, if we make a quality decision, of our own free will, to forgive, God is right there in His infinite Love, Grace, and Mercy, helping us to forgive.   And then, He will heal all our emotional and mental hurt and pain.

Once we forgive, we have the authority and power to 'bind' and 'cast out' the Tormentors, allowing God to bring our physical healing.

The first step in 'forgiving' is 'not going to an individual' and telling them you forgive them.   The first step is making a quality decision ('choice') to forgive and speaking it out loud.   (When, at some point, the Holy Spirit prompts you to go to the individual and tell them you forgive them, then you must do it.   If the individual is deceased or lives a long distance away, the following works.   Remember, all this is for dealing with the Tormentors.)

Out loud, in your own words:

    1)  Confess your unforgiveness to God, and ask for forgiveness.

    2)  Forgive yourself for the unforgiveness.

    3)  Speak to the individual you have unforgiveness toward, forgiving them, and ask them to forgive you for the unforgiveness you have harbored toward them.

    4)  Speak to the demonic, the Tormentors, tell them, that you have forgiven all unforgiveness, and in so doing, you have stripped them of any 'authority', 'power', or 'right' for them to be there.

Suggested prayer for 'forgiving'  (strictly an example):

Heavenly Father, In the Name of Jesus, I confess and repent of my unforgiveness toward (name of individual).   This day, today, of my own free will, I choose to forgive (him/her).   I forgive (name of individual) for every word spoken and every deed committed that hurt or harmed me.   I ask that you forgive me for my unforgiveness, and Wash and Cleanse me with the Blood of Jesus.   Thank You Heavenly Father!

Self, this day, today, of my own free will, I choose to forgive (name of individual).   In the Name of Jesus I forgive (him/her) for every word spoken and for every deed committed that hurt or harmed me.   I also forgive myself, for the unforgiveness I have harbored toward (him/her).

(Name of individual), this day, today, of my own free will, I have chosen to forgive you.   In the name of Jesus I forgive you for every word spoken and for every deed committed that hurt or harmed me.   (Name of individual), you are forgiven!   Please, forgive me for the unforgiveness I have had, in my heart, toward you.

Tormentors, I speak to you, In the Name of Jesus, I rebuke you, I renounce you and your works in my life.   This day, today, of my own free will, I have chosen to forgive (name of individual).   I forgive (name of individual) for every word spoken and every deed committed that hurt or harmed me.   In so doing, I have stripped you of all 'authority', 'power', and / or 'right' to torment me.   In the Name of Jesus, I take authority over you and cast you out.   As you leave, you will take all the weakness, sickness, disease, migraine headaches, stiffness, bitterness, hatred, hurt, and pain you have put on me.   In the Name of Jesus, leave now!

Heavenly Father, I thank You the Tormentors are gone.   I ask and thank You for complete, physical, mental, and emotional healing.   Amen and Amen!!
